Senior Superintendent

The General Contracting team has successful experience in new construction and renovation of commercial, healthcare, and education projects. These projects have included both design / build and design / bid / build contract strategies.

Job Description

Run / manage project from start to finish

Oversee full construction project on a daily basis

Coordinate to resolve any problems with materials or methods.

Establish and maintain an effective and professional on-site working relationship with owners, architects, consulting engineers and other parties related to the project.

Enforce a safe work environment, practices and culture on the project.

The Successful Applicant

Degree in construction management or equivalent work experience

A minimum of 5 years' experience in construction field management / supervision

Experience in the construction of federal projects is preferred, and work for the VA is fantastic!

Partnership approach to working with contractors, designers and clients

MS Office Suite knowledge and excellent computer skills

Proficient in MS Project Scheduling

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team

Self-motivation with good time management skills

Travel is required

Base Salary : $120,000-160,000, dependent on experience
