Job Description & Requirements Specialty : OR - Operating Room Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 31 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days, nights, rotating Employment Type : Travel Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Facility : The University of Vermont Medical Center Location : VT 05401 Assignment Length : 16 weeks (extension to 32 weeks possible) Shift Options : Day : 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 00) / Night : 4x10-Hour (17 : 00 - 03 : 00) Weekend Requirement : 1 shift every 4 weeks (12-hour shift) Holiday Requirement : Must work 2 of the 4 major holidays if scheduled Required Qualifications : Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience Level I Trauma experience (required) Must be able to both circulate and scrub Travel nursing experience required – no first-time travelers Experience in teaching hospital environment Epic charting system experience within the last 2 years (non-negotiable) Valid BLS (required) and ACLS (preferred) certifications Preferred Skills & Experience : Experience in a wide variety of specialties (must be able to scrub and circulate in most) : General, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, CVT, GU, GYN, ENT, Plastics, Dental, Ophthalmology Familiarity with robotic surgeries (Da Vinci, MAKO, etc.) Previous use of Da Vinci Xi Surgical System Experience in transplant and open-heart surgeries preferred (RNs circulate all specialties except CVOR) About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies : Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
