Hospitalist Physician

StartDate : ASAP Available Shifts : 12;On Call Pay Rate : $179.45 - $194.25

This facility is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity :

Schedule : Start October 27th; 7 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM onsite with unrestricted night call (7 : 00 PM 7 : 00 AM)

Total census per provider per shift : Average census 815 patients per day; 23 daily admissions

Procedures required :

Thoracentesis

Paracentesis (diagnostic and therapeutic)

Central Line

Ultrasound-Guided Intravenous Lines (IVs)

Ventilator Management

Intubation (preferred, not required)

Lumbar Punctures

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) : Meditech

Support : Mid-Level Support available during peak hours

Certifications and license required : Board Certified / Board Eligible : Family Medicine or Internal Medicine; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)

Credentialing timeframe : 30-60 Days; Temps Available
