About The Position

Job Title : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Experience : Minimum 2 years required

License : RRT required, CRT accepted

Certifications : ACLS required, BLS preferred

Must-Have :

• 2 years of experience in pulmonary function testing.
• ACLS certification.
• RRT license.

Description :

This position is in an outpatient center.

The job entails performing various breathing assessments and tests to assist healthcare provider treatment plans.

There is no requirement for hospital coverage, and the primary work involves pulmonary function testing.

Common respiratory distress diagnoses include pneumonia, asthma, tuberculosis, emphysema, COPD, chest infections, and lung nodules.

Oxygen assessments, 6-minute walk tests, long and short pulmonary function tests (PFTs), and arterial blood gases (ABGs) will also be part of the responsibilities.

Special equipment used includes PFT equipment and NIOX.

Individuals applying should possess skills in pulmonary function testing lab experience, ARDS, aspiration, bronchoscopy, COVID-19, cystic fibrosis, and pneumonia.

Basic EKG knowledge, BiPAP, and CPAP experience are preferred.

The work environment involves seeing patients and performing necessary assessments in a clinic setting.

No weekend or on-call work will be required.

First-time travelers are accepted for this role.
