Forest Sector Finance Specialist

A company is looking for a Forest Sector Finance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct a desk review of national policies and financial instruments related to forests and agriculture

Map stakeholders and assess barriers to financial access for smallholders and communities

Provide recommendations and develop an operational roadmap for financial access solutions under the NPFP

Required Qualifications

University Degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Rural Development, Environmental Management, Forest Engineering, or a related field

At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in rural financial inclusion or financial services for smallholders

Working knowledge of Portuguese and English

National of Brazil or resident with a valid work permit

Experience in financial analysis of investment projects in the agricultural sector is preferred
