Job Description

This is an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF). Residents do NOT require skilled care, therefore your CNA job is a little different here :

Residents are more independent and ambulatory

So you LOVE patient interaction and one-on-one time? This is a slower paced center so you get to know your patients.

This environment has less lifting and less physical demands on your body.

You will have the chance to assist and attend activity outings with residents.

You may help residents with things like choosing clothing or setting appointments.

Overall you will provide compassionate care monitoring to this unique population.

Qualifications : Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) : officially we title this job a Certified Nursing Assistant, but in other centers it may be called a CNA or Certified Nurse Aide.

• Prior experience or desire to work with behavioral population is helpful, but not required

This center is managed by TRANSITIONAL CARE MANAGEMENT. We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs), Short-term Care Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care (ICFs), and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
