Position Description : Must be able to work ALL shifts. This plant runs 2 shifts (Days / Nights). Shifts are 13 hours. Plant does a standard AWS (2-2-3) which means every other weekend will be required. The schedule involves working two consecutive days, followed by two days off, then working three consecutive days, and having two days off, repeating the cycle to create a 28-day rotation where each employee has a longer weekend every other week. Responsibilities : Manage a team of hourly employees around 12 to 15 people, learn about cracker making, and enforce GMP’s and PPEs. Drive key metrics on the line and hold employees accountable for their results. Responsible for supervising hourly employees and executing production plans and overall operations of assigned area / shift to include food safety, customer service, cost management, labor relations, production, site security, quality, safety and regulatory compliance. Skills Required : Effective communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to manage complexity, proven ability to effectively manage people, strong problem-solving ability, ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization, demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others. Skills Preferred : Demonstrated experience managing safety and / or quality programs in a manufacturing environment Proven leadership and supervisory experience in manufacturing Ability to work evenings and weekends Strong manufacturing aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to manage multiple priorities while fostering accountability and execution Education Required : HS Diploma / GED
