FLOOR COVERING INSTALLATION INSTRUCTOR

Department : Workforce Education

Pay Range : $40 - $50 Per Hour - Salary is commensurate with experience.

Appointment Type : Contractor

Work Schedule : September-November 2025, Evenings 4-8pm (2 days / week) & Schedule TBD; January-May 2026; and September-November 2026.

NHTI-Concord’s Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in contract teaching at the College in a classroom and on job site setting; strong instructional background is preferred. The focus area is floor covering installation (carpet, resilient, hardwood, and tile)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

• Education : An earned associate degree or certificate from a regionally accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
• Or : High School diploma or GED with minimum of journeyman level certification and / or Master certification preferred. Minimum of 3 years of flooring installation experience and current knowledge of the field. Computer / Technical Skills : Internet, Word, PowerPoint, Email, Zoom. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Scope of Work :

To coordinate course, course delivery and program activities for non-credit Floor Covering Installation at NHTI. The position is a contractual, temporary position for a specified contract period with potential to continue into future semesters.
