We’re looking for a

Machine Shop Manager

to lead daily operations in a 50-person precision machining shop. This is a hands-on leadership role in a

fast-paced CNC and manual machining environment

where your expertise in production, people, and process will make a direct impact.

What You’ll Do

Lead day-to-day machine shop operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Mentor and develop machinists, supervisors, and cross-functional team members.

Oversee scheduling, workflow, and resources using ERP / MRP systems.

Monitor tooling, materials, and machine utilization to maximize efficiency.

Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to maintain precision standards.

Drive Lean / 5S / continuous improvement initiatives.

Partner with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve issues quickly.

Track production and quality KPIs and act on trends.

What You Bring

5+ years of machining experience (CNC + manual required).

2+ years of leadership experience in a machine shop or manufacturing setting.

Knowledge of tooling, materials, and machining processes.

ERP / MRP scheduling experience.

Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.

Background with Lean / 5S / Six Sigma practices a plus.

Strong decision-making, organizational, and communication skills.
