Street Repair Supervisor II - Facilities - SFO
Under general direction, the 7282 Street Repair Supervisor II is a second-level supervisor responsible for construction, maintenance, and repair of streets, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and city structures (steps, guard rails, retaining walls, etc.) using asphalt, concrete and other materials.
You are excited about this opportunity because you will :
Experience : Two (2) years of experience as a supervisor (with a full range of supervisory duties) of a group of workers engaged in the construction, maintenance, and repair of asphalt and concrete streets, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, as well as city structures (steps, guard rails, retaining walls, etc.)
License and Certification : Possession of a valid driver license.
Applicants must meet the minimum qualification by the final filing date unless otherwise noted. One-year full-time employment is equivalent to 2,000 hours (2,000 hours of qualifying work experience is based on a 40-hour work week). Any overtime hours that you work above 40 hours per week are not included in the calculation to determine full-time employment.

Selection Procedures : After application submission, candidates deemed qualified must complete all subsequent steps to advance in this selection process, which includes the following :
Basic Supervisory Examination (Weight : Minimum 50%)
Oral Examination (Weight : 50%)
Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Security Clearance
Customs Clearance
Eligible List / Score Report : The duration of the eligible list resulting from this examination process will be six (6) months and may be extended with the approval of the Human Resources Director.

Certification : The certification rule for the eligible list resulting from this examination will be Rule of Five (5). The hiring department may administer additional position-specific selection procedures prior to making final hiring decisions.
