Healthcare United Central New York

Healthcare United, a progressive academic health system in central New York , is seeking a Board-Eligible / Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our comprehensive Department of Psychiatry . This role offers competitive compensation, a generous sign-on bonus, and visa sponsorship (J-1 & H-1B) . Become part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality psychiatric care.

Position Highlights

As a Psychiatrist at Healthcare United , you will :

  • Provide psychiatric evaluations and assessments for a diverse patient population.
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications for inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Work within a comprehensive psychiatric care system , including :

14-bed acute inpatient psychiatry unit .

  • Consult services for Med-Surg inpatients at affiliate hospitals.
  • Psychiatric consultations to Emergency Departments throughout the network.
  • Outpatient Psychiatry Clinics (OMH-licensed) with satellite locations and extensive telepsychiatry services .
  • Provide occasional Consult-Liaison Psychiatry coverage , including telepsych services to other hospitals in the network.
  • Participate in inpatient call with a 1 : 5 weekday rotation and one weekend per month .

    • Requirements

  • MD, DO, or MBBS with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency .
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry .
  • New York State Medical License (or eligibility).
  • BLS Certification Required.
  • DEA Registration Required.

  • Salary Range : $255,008 - $300,000 , with performance-based incentives and no earnings cap .
