Automated Sideload Garbage Truck Driver (Miami FL)

Waste Connections is Hiring a Automated Side Load in Miami FL!

PAY : $23-$25 / hr DOE, working 50-55 hours a week.

A typical schedule is Monday Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed. The workweek is approximately 50-55 hours.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Safely operate an Automated Side Load garbage truck on specified routes to collect commercial solid waste.
• Ensure accurate and timely collection and disposal of waste by operating hydraulic systems to empty containers.
• Interact courteously with customers while performing the job.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working order.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during collection and disposal.
• Perform a physically demanding job, including loading and unloading waste from front-load containers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck and work area.
• Follow route sheets and service each customer assigned by the dispatcher.
