Responsibilities :

Conduct VDA 6.3 partial-scope audits (P5–P7) of Aptiv's suppliers

P5 : Supplier Management

P6 : Production Process Analysis

P7 : Customer Support & Service

Focus only on in-production suppliers using standard components

Certifications Required :

Must have : VDA 6.3 Process Auditor Certification (issued by VDA-QMC)

Nice to have : IATF 16949 Certification (as backup only)

Experience :

3–5 years of experience in supplier audits within the automotive industry

Solid understanding and use of VDA 6.3 methodology

Preferred : Experience conducting partial-scope (P5–P7) audits

Industry Background :

Automotive manufacturing

Experience auditing Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers preferred

Job Type : 1099 Contractor

Project Duration : Multiple audits across various U.S. locations. Each audit averages 1.5 man-days (1 day on-site, 0.5 day for reporting). Note : This is a 1099 contract role—project timelines vary based on client needs.

Shift Hours : Typically standard business hours (approx. 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM local time). Note : As a 1099 contractor, schedules may change depending on the assigned project.

Location : Must be able to travel to Rochester Hills, MI / Detroit, MI. Future audits may be assigned in other MI areas.
