Overview

Manager of Engineering – Transmission Lines, leading a growing transmission line design team supporting large-scale power delivery projects across the U.S. This is a high-impact, onsite leadership position responsible for guiding a regional engineering group, ensuring quality, efficiency, and innovation across multiple transmission design programs.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a team of transmission line engineers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
  • Oversee all aspects of transmission line design, including QA / QC and compliance with engineering standards.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget — ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
  • Build strong client relationships and drive regional business growth through exceptional service and technical leadership.
  • Partner with cross-functional groups to enhance design processes, workflows, and technology.

What We're Looking For

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (required).
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in transmission line or electric utility engineering.
  • Proven background in project management and team leadership.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and mentoring.
