Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least one year of L&D experience and an active IN or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital OB unit including 5 L&D rooms, 1 OR suite, and 12 postpartum rooms
  • Patient ratios are 1 : 1 for labor and 1 : 3-4 for postpartum care
  • Utilizes Meditech and CPN electronic charting systems
  • Shifts are 12 hours with options for days (6a-6p) or nights (6p-6a), with weekends required
  • Nurses never work alone and there are no on-call requirements
  • No floating to other units
  • Comprehensive OB-specific unit orientation and training provided
  • Scrubs of your choice are permitted
  • Must work at least one of the three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's
  • No facility call off policy in place
  • Local candidates within 80 miles are eligible, with local pay rates applied

  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
  • Minimum one year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
