ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Edison, New Jersey.

Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs and performing therapeutic nursing interventions. The nurse will manage the care of patients, advocate for evidence-based practice care standards, and provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.

Evaluate patients and assist physicians with care.

Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.

Identify patient needs and prioritize care through assessment and evaluation.

Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients.

Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.

Document care based on standards of care and patient acuity.

Advocate for evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.

This position requires working the night shift from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM, 3 shifts per week, and it includes every other weekend and holidays as required.

Minimum of 2 years of strong experience in ICU / CCU required.

MUST HAVE Neuro ICU experience.

Must be willing to float to Tele / Stepdown units with a max of 4 tele patients.

BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, NIHSS, and NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.

Minimum of 1 year recent bedside Med-Surg and Tele experience in a major acute care trauma center preferred.
