Your Role : The Heart of the OR
As an OR-RN, you will be crucial to the safety and success of every patient's surgical journey. Your responsibilities span expert clinical care, collaboration, and maintaining the highest professional standards :
Expert Surgical Care : Apply advanced nursing knowledge within the Operating Room setting, adhering strictly to established professional and state standards of care.Patient Advocacy : Provide essential emotional, psychological, and spiritual support, establishing a compassionate environment for patients and their families before, during, and after surgery.Collaborative Assessment : Collect, analyze, and assess comprehensive patient data (objective, subjective, psychosocial, cultural) to inform the care plan.Care Coordination : Prioritize, implement, and coordinate the surgical plan of care, ensuring safe transitions and continuity by effectively communicating changes in patient status to the multidisciplinary team.Safety and Sterility : Maintain an impeccable surgical environment by following all infection-control protocols for handling and clearing instruments, equipment, and supplies.Team Success : Utilize strong skills in active listening, conflict management, and time management to adapt quickly and maintain composure in a dynamic clinical setting.Qualifications to Succeed :
Experience is Required : Previous Operating Room (OR) experience (1 year minimum) is essential.Required Education : Associate's Degree (Bachelor's Degree preferred).Required Licensure : Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.Required Certifications : Basic Life Support Program (BLS) (American Heart Association).Preferred Certifications : Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) may be required by the unit.Benefits We Offer :
