Student Life Coordinator
Location : Quest Forward High School, Santa Rosa, CA

Reports To : Director of School
Position Overview :
Quest Forward High School seeks a dedicated and motivated Student Life Coordinator to join our team. This role will focus on supporting our students' social, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs, ensuring a positive and productive school environment. The full-time coordinator will handle school operations, event support, and general student life responsibilities while ensuring students receive the necessary support for academic success.
Key Responsibilities : Academic & Behavioral Support :
- Develop, monitor, and manage academic, behavioral , and attendance contracts for students.
- Provide social-emotional support for students, including conducting check-ins and tracking progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, meetings, and interventions.
- Implement support strategies for students struggling academically or behaviorally and collaborate with faculty and parents.
- Working with the Administrative team, facilitating parent conferences when needed.
School Operations and Event Support :
Assist with school operations , including event support, setup, and takedown for school activities and events.Facilitate student movement, monitor common space, and provide support for school-wide announcements.Facilitate field trip transportationOversee ~5 student clubs and activity programs per semesterClassroom Instruction :
Facilitate 45-minute Pathways class each week (subject may vary based on expertise and need), contributing to the school's academic offerings.Plan and facilitate other classes as needed.Additional Administrative Support :
Working with the Admin team, help to establish and maintain community relationships that drive and ensure student access to outside activities.Assist school leadership with additional tasks , such as maintaining student files, assisting in scheduling, and general operational duties.Required Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree (Education, Psychology, or related field preferred).Experience : Prior experience working with high school students (teaching, counseling, or academic support roles) preferred.Skills :Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a professional and confidential approach to working with students and families.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse needs.Knowledge of social-emotional learning (SEL) and behavioral management strategies.Comfortable using technology for documentation, communication, and reporting.Sound understanding of curriculum, adolescent development, student behavior management, and conflict resolution.Strong leadership and management skills and a desire to be a part of a student-focused team.An excitement about, commitment to, and joy in working with high school students.Compensation & Hours :
Full-time salaried position (1.0 FTE) : 40 hours / week.Position will require after-school hours, including clubs, school events, and more (typically 5-7 per month).Salary is competitive and based on experience. Full-time benefits package available.
