Travel Electrical Controls Lead

Position Summary : Anistar is seeking a traveling controls electrician to work on a national project for a Fortune 100 client.

Job Responsibilities :

• Run conduit, wiring, hook-up disconnects, switches, push buttons, circuit panels, breakers, suppressors, transformers, and wire terminations on multiple sites nationally.
• Install, startup, test, commission, and service control projects.
• Configure, commission, troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) or Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
• Troubleshoot, repair, and program control systems and electrical problems.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet project deadlines and daily deliverables (e.g., pictures, signed checklists, As-Built documents).
• Resolve conflicts while maintaining positive relationships at all levels.
• Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed electrical systems and components are operational.
• Understand electrical circuit concepts & theory (Single Phase, Three Phase, AC and DC Electricity, from 23V DC to 480V AC).
• Ensure electrical systems meet local, county, state, or federal codes, as well as legal and insurance requirements.
• Must be available to travel for 3-5 months at a time. Company vehicle, hotel, and per diem are provided.
