Position Overview

KSL TV 5 is seeking a dynamic, engaging reporter to work on a part-time basis. This journalist will enterprise news stories for live-broadcast and our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will produce engaging and demonstrative live shots, conduct in-depth interviews and craft creative copy for broadcast, digital platforms and social media. Note : Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion.

What You Will Do :

Primary job duties will include, but are not limited to :

• Enterprise, gather and write accurate news content for on-air broadcasting and digital presentation
• Tell memorable stories in an engaging and authentic manner
• Develop diverse news sources for general assignment and special areas of interest
• Write and post daily on all digital platforms including social media
• Work effectively in a team environment and collaborate effectively to create compelling content
• Act professionally and courteously and dress appropriately for the event(s) assigned to cover
• Perform other duties as assigned
