TITLE : Technical Sales Rep

TYPE : Direct Hire

LOCATION : Horsham, PA

ONSITE / REMOTE / HYBRID : 100% on-site with overnight travel 30% of the time

START DATE : October 2025

SHIFT : M–F, 1st Shift

We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative for a hybrid inside / outside sales role. The company is a fast-growing leader in advanced electro-mechanical solutions. This is a low-volume, relationship-driven sales position(approximately 10 prospect calls per day) with primarily warm leads. You'll receive extensive training on our products and sales process, but should bring a solid foundation of mechanical aptitude and technical curiosity from day one.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete a comprehensive paid training program to quickly gain expertise in our electro-mechanical product line.
  • Serve as the technical sales representative responsible for a designated geographic territory within the U.S.
  • Partner with new and existing customers to understand their needs and recommend the right electro-mechanical solutions.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to prospects, presenting product capabilities and driving new business opportunities.
  • Travel Monday–Wednesday approximately once every 5 weeks within the continental U.S.
  • Be highly coachable and open to learning our sales approach, product details, and industry best practices.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Consistently work toward sales KPIs and provide feedback to improve processes and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and pipeline activities in our CRM system.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required. A technical or business-related discipline is preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of electro-mechanical systems.
  • Outgoing personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Familiarity with low-voltage or electro-mechanical systems is a plus.
