Maxwell Library is a focal point of activity for the BSU community, supporting the teaching, learning, and research needs of more than 11,000 students and 300 faculty members. Located on the West Campus, the library provides a variety of information resources and electronic tools for student and faculty use in a comfortable and inviting environment.

The Library Student Assistants will be responsible for :

• Providing excellent customer service at the Access Services Desk
• Answering patron questions and directing patrons to the appropriate library staff member
• Shelving books and other library materials
• Shelf reading books and cleaning the stacks
• Retrieving holds from the stacks and assisting patrons with retrieving books
• Using the library database to check books in and out
• Performing daily patron counts throughout the library
• Performing other duties as assigned
