Job Description

The Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) team is a world-class commercial organization experiencing tremendous growth as we expand into new payment flows and continue to grow our core solutions. Our team brings payment solutions and associated services to clients around the globe. Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients, Multi Nationals and Governments. We work closely with Issuers, Merchants, FinTechs and other ecosystem players to deliver these services. We believe that the market is at an inflection point whereby Visa can play a larger role in building and delivering solutions around the world.

There is a rapid shift from plastic to digital credentials within the B2B payments ecosystem, mirroring and building upon the same shift within consumer payments over the past decade. We are seeking a team member who can navigate complexity to identify B2B payment solutions to solve for clients' and partners' business problems and drive opportunities to advance the VCS business.

This Senior Manager, B2B Solution Design is responsible for technical solutioning for client and partner opportunities and strategic priorities. Focus areas will be virtual cards, API and FinTech integration, embedded payments, and Agentic Commerce. The position will provide expertise to solution for new areas of opportunity that may include new use cases, FinTech constructs or verticals. As the payments landscape rapidly evolves, it's imperative that we have specific, deep knowledge of our capabilities to drive solutioning, leveraging VCS, and products and capabilities across the Visa enterprise. This role strives to bring the best of Visa and to ensure delivery of best-in-class solutions for our clients and partners.

You will work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners to translate market needs into actionable product strategies. This role requires a results-driven professional who excels at managing complex projects and delivering impactful solutions. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional that understands both the business and technical aspects of payments and has a track record of delivering solutions that exceed client expectations. This role requires strategic thinking, innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. The candidate must be creative and hands-on, have a bias towards action and inspire others with their vision.

Essential Functions

You will be successful in this role if you have :

• A deep understanding and practical application of B2B payments, SaaS solutions, and APIs.
• Natural curiosity to explore the art of the possible and the ability to diagnose business problems and bring accurate, repeatable solutions to market.
• A passion for working with clients and demonstrated leadership in delivering powerful solutions to clients and partners.
• Experience in Product Development, Sales, and Solution Design.
• Strong collaborative skills to work closely with product leaders, sales teams, regional leaders, and client services.
• Ability to lead across teams and functions and influence / motivate those around you to achieve results.
• Understanding of both the business and technical aspects of payments and a track record of delivering solutions that exceed client expectations

Responsibilities :

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD 8+ years of relevant experience in product management or solutioning roles, with a strong focus on Commercial solutions. Expertise in e-Invoicing, ISVs, commercial payments and familiarity with market needs and trends. Proven ability to drive product development from concept to launch. Works independently with limited supervision. Must be able to influence teams in a matrix environment to get things done effectively. Strong oral and written communications. Able to communicate complex, technical concepts in a focused and well-organized manner. Innovator who can create new solutions using out-of-the-box thinking and Visa's full product and solution set. Willingness to take on new challenges, explore new ideas and be flexible with changing priorities.
