Purpose

Science & Medicine Group (SMG) is looking for a dynamic, hands-on Marketing Specialist to help run marketing for its Insights business unit that provides custom market research services and syndicate market research reports. SMG has aggregated the most credible market research brands throughout the life sciences, imaging diagnostic, and laboratory diagnostics to provide over 700 customers with a comprehensive solution to accelerate their decision making.

The Marketing Systems & Campaign Specialist is a tactical, hands-on role for a B2B marketer with deep technical HubSpot experience. The ideal candidate works in HubSpot daily – building, optimizing, and troubleshooting campaigns, workflows, reports, and Salesforce integrations that drive measurable marketing impact. Your focus will be to execute and optimize campaigns, streamline automation, and ensure HubSpot and Salesforce operate seamlessly to support lead generation and marketing-to-sales alignment.

This position requires recent (within the last 12 months) HubSpot Marketing Hub experience and a strong understanding of how HubSpot integrates with Salesforce. You’ll play a key role in campaign execution, lead management, and marketing system optimization, directly assisting the Marketing Director to execute high-performing, multi-brand marketing programs across Science and Medicine Group’s Insights business unit.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities adjust to organization / department needs, but typically align to the following :

  • Build, launch and schedule multi-channel marketing campaigns in HubSpot that integrate with Salesforce
  • Build and maintain HubSpot workflows to support lead management, routing, and automation
  • Support property mapping, data hygiene, and lead flow optimization, to ensure accurate syncing between HubSpot and Salesforce
  • Troubleshoot sync issues and proactively resolve errors to maintain clean, reliable data between systems
  • Draft marketing copy for emails, blogs, social posts, and event promotions
  • Set up and gate assets with forms, landing pages, CTA, and lists in HubSpot to support campaign tracking and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards, reports, and attribution tracking / tagging to measure campaign impact and optimize performance.
  • Support A / B testing, segmentation, and automation enhancements to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • Design simple visuals in Canva and repurpose assets across campaigns
  • Set up, promote, and track marketing campaigns & webinars within HubSpot across marketing channels.
  • Manage contact lists, campaign performance tracking, and basic Salesforce tasks
  • Assist with marketing analytics, attribution tagging, and report pulls
  • Coordinate with analysists and product teams to support report launches, content updates, and asset deployment.
  • Coordinate trade show attendance, accommodation, and award ceremonies as needed.

Requirements :

Skills & Competencies

Must have skills for this role include :

  • Proven experience in HubSpot (email builds, forms, CTAs, workflows, system integration settings) with the ability to build workflow automations, lead routing, and support Salesforce integration.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (comfortable supporting data syncs, property mapping, and basic administrative tasks)
  • Ability to implement and optimize system configurations based on defined sales and marketing processes
  • Outstanding written, verbal and presentation communication skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into simple, intuitive messages for email, blog, and social content
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to juggle multiple campaigns
  • Comfortable working across multiple brand and product lines
  • A quick learner with excellent problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills
  • Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
  • 3-5 years’ experience with proven success in B2B marketing, including campaign creation, marketing automation and system configuration
  • Hands on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub and Salesforce
  • Tech stack familiarity including HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Sales Navigator, Asana, Zoom Webinars, and Canva
  • Experience in market research and / or life science or medical diagnostics, a plus
