job_description.job_card.job_descriptionFollow written procedures and perform all steps required to assemble Aperio Digital Pathology scanners and related products. Electro-mechanical assembly Routing of cable and harness assemblies Building of optical sub-assemblies Visual and mechanical inspections of components and assemblies Installing software Performing basic troubleshooting Identifying proper focus of optical assemblies viewing through eyepiece or on computer monitor Completing related paperwork High School diploma or equivalent or, in lieu of High School diploma, 2+ years' work experience in a manufacturing environment 1+ year's manufacturing experience as a Technician or Assembler; able to assemble parts Able to assemble or connect electromechanical equipment Some assembly experience; e.g., fit circuit cards together, torquing screws, etc. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel) Positive, "can do" attitude; open to feedback and eager to learn Strong team player; communicates well and maintains a positive attitude Ability to learn quickly Bonus : Experience working with medical devices Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25 lb and stand for long periods

Manufacturing Technician / Assembler — Vista, CA 92081 (Must be local)
- Payrate : $23-$25 / hr
- Duration : 6-9 month contract to turn permanent based on performance
- Hours : Full-time : M-F 6am-2 : 30pm

The Manufacturing Technician / Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical and optical components. This position is part of the Production Team located in Vista, CA and will be an on-site role. You will be part of the Production Operations Team and report to the Manager, Manufacturing, responsible for working to assemble scanners and related products.
