Attorney – Fiduciary Litigation

Law Office of Joblin C. Younger, P.C.

Boutique Beverly law firm seeks a full-time fiduciary litigation attorney. Our practice focuses on trust and estate planning and administration, including conservatorships, guardianships, probate litigation and corporate matters. The ideal candidate will enjoy working independently and as part of a team; be self-motivated with a strong work ethic; analytical and curious; and have a solution-oriented disposition.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties Include

  • Meeting with clients and preparing all documents and pleadings needed for litigation

Conducting discovery

  • Scheduling and attending motion and interim hearings
  • Trial preparation and trial presentation
  • Managing calendar and tracking systems for all cases and deadlines
  • Assisting manager partner
  • Expanding the litigation practice through networking
  • Pitching in as needed with other facets of the practice

    • Qualifications

  • Experience : Admission to Massachusetts bar in good standing

    • 2-4 years of probate and / or superior court experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and emerging technologies
  • Familiarity with client management software (Clio preferred)
  • Familiarity with Probate & Family Court rules
  • Skills : Strong written, verbal, and communication skills

    • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills

  • Ability to multitask on short-term and long-term projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    • Compensation

  • Base Salary : Negotiable (commensurate with experience)
  • Paid Time Off : vacation, sick, & personal
  • Retirement : 401K plan (with matching), plus discretionary profit sharing
  • Insurance : Sorry, no medical or other insurance are provided
