Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

Job Description

A Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating the care needed by assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN is knowledgeable about the principles, theories, and current methods and techniques of nursing practice. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN collaborates with patients, their family members, professional peers, and other members of the healthcare team to individualize patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care plans under the direction of a licensed physician.
  • Collaborate with patients, their family members, and healthcare teams to provide individualized care.
  • Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care in accordance with established standards.
  • Stay current on best practices and new developments in nursing through ongoing education and training.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the area of clinical specialty preferred.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License required.
  • Basic Life Support certification required.

    This is a night shift position, working 12-hour shifts.
