Job Title : Talent Acquisition Specialist

Department : Human Resources

Reports To : Vice President, Human Resources

Location : Onsite at our Kent, OH or Marietta, GA offices. Hybrid remote may be considered.

Job Type : Full-Time

Compensation : Base $50,000 - $55,000 plus recruiting bonus structure.

Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring Sage continues to attract, hire, and retain top talent to support our growth. This role combines hands-on recruiting with strategic workforce planning—partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop talent pipelines, and enhance our employer brand.

The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and results-driven, with the ability to balance tactical recruiting execution and long-term talent strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Own the recruiting process from job posting through offer acceptance for a variety of roles, including technical, administrative, managerial, and field-based positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs, develop job descriptions, and design effective recruitment strategies.
  • Manage interviews, extend offers, and coordinate onboarding with HR teammates.

Strategic Workforce Planning

  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to forecast workforce requirements, address critical staffing needs, and align hiring with long-term business goals.
  • Candidate Sourcing & Pipelining

  • Utilize job boards, professional networks (LinkedIn), social media, referrals, and career events to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future opportunities.
  • Candidate Assessment & Experience

  • Screen resumes, conduct phone screens, and evaluate candidates for skills, culture fit, and alignment with company values.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience through consistent communication and feedback.
  • Employer Branding

  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives, career fairs, and recruitment marketing campaigns to strengthen Sage’s presence as an employer of choice.
  • Data & Metrics

  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, cost per hire, and retention outcomes to improve hiring efficiency and results.
  • HR Collaboration & Support

  • Assist in onboarding improvements and early retention efforts.
  • Cross-train in HR functions to provide backup and support to the HR team.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Compensation Structure

  • Base Salary : Competitive and commensurate with experience
  • Per-Hire Incentive : Bonus for each successful hire
  • Retention Bonus : Additional bonus when hires reach retention milestone (6 months)

    Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or talent acquisition (in-house or agency).
  • Proven success managing full-cycle recruiting processes across diverse roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with candidates and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (preferably ADP Workforce Now), LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple requisitions and shifting priorities.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and relevant employment laws.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for company events and conferences.
  • Preferred :

  • Experience recruiting in the security, technology, or construction industries.
  • Familiarity with incentive-based recruiting structures.
