Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $3,132 per week

HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Albany, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Neuro ICU / SICU Shift 7pm - 7am Every other weekend is required 2 Years of ICU staff experience required in trauma, surgical AND neurological ICU patients. Epic experience REQUIRED Navy blue scrubs required Must have : NYS Licensed RN with at least 2 years permanent staff experience in trauma, surgical AND neurological ICU patients. Must have Level One trauma experience. Advanced skills needed : Comprehensive advanced neurological assessments, NIHSS stroke assessments, hemodynamic monitoring of critically ill patient, ventilator management. Procedures performed on unit : Placement of arterial line, central line, external ventricular drain, ICP monitor, SEPS drain. Bedside bronchoscopy, abdominal washout, tracheostomy, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube placement, lumbar punctures, chest tubes, pigtail drains. Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS. NIHSS preferred Dress Code : (Required uniform) Navy blue scrub top and pants Patient Population : Patients with life threatening conditions related to major elective and emergency surgical procedures, multiple traumas, traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, stroke, patients with sepsis / multi-organ system failure, and hemodynamic instability Must have : NYS Licensed RN with at least 2 years permanent staff experience in trauma, surgical AND neurological ICU patients. Must have Level One trauma experience.
