Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Telemetry Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 20 / 2025 Duration : 52 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type : Local Contract Position Title RN Cardiac Neuro Tele (Med-Tele Unit) Position Description Position Name : RN Cardiac Neuro Tele (Med Tele) - Sanford, FL Shifts Available : Days (Rotating Weekends) Nights (Rotating Weekends) Job Summary : The Cardiac Neuro Registered Nurse is responsible for the observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care; health teaching and counseling of the ill, injured, or infirm; and the promotion of wellness, maintenance of health, and prevention of illness of others. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed practitioner authorized by the laws of this state to prescribe such medications and treatments. This 27 -bed unit and will tend to Med / Tele Neuro & Cardiac, Post CAB, MI’s / Chest pain etc. patients. Our number one goal is patient safety and satisfaction! Qualifications 1 year of Recent (within the last year or 2) RN ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred. If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (They’ll still need to apply for the FL license) we can consider and move forward. If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience, they’ll need to take the NCLEX in FL and once they pass we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License) Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification. NIHSS Certification must obtain within 30 days. Required to work under NIHSS credentials RN until training certificate obtained. “We are an equal opportunity employer.
