Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online Business Writing tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home.

Base pay range : $18.00 / hr - $40.00 / hr.

Responsibilities

  • Tutor online via our Live Learning Platform, remotely and without commuting.
  • Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
  • Get matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.
  • Invoice for tutoring sessions; we handle payments and you receive compensation twice per week.
  • Utilize the AI-powered Tutor Copilot for real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time and focus on teaching.
  • Provide personalized instruction and adjust to individual student needs during sessions.

What We Look For In a Tutor

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Expertise in Business Writing and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education.
