Responsibilities :
- Managing a caseload of lien files which involves rating the permanent disability under the AMA guides, reviewing medical records, understanding apportionment, completing settlement documents, and resolving liens
- Performing lien negotiations and legal representations
- Appearing before a judge for Mandatory Settlement Conferences, Status Conferences, and Walking Thru settlements
- Providing timely communication with clients and written summaries on a routine basis
Qualifications :
Three years of experience working as a Hearing Representative in California Workers' Compensation Defense (Required)Knowledge of CA Workers' Compensation lawHighly motivated, results-driven, high energy, and a sense of urgencyStrong attention to detail, with a commitment to outstanding customer serviceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to juggle multiple tasks efficiently with little supervisionClient-focused, with the ability to deliver resultsBenefits :
