Duties and Responsibilities

On-Campus Events :

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a comprehensive schedule of on-campus events including Open Houses, Admitted Student Days, daily visits, group tours, information sessions, and other recruitment and yield-related programming
• Oversee the campus tour program, including hiring, training, and managing the Maritime Ambassadors (student tour guides)
• Serve as the lead point of contact for school and group visits, ensuring a high-quality experience aligned with institutional messaging and goals
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, current students, and departments across campus to coordinate event logistics and content delivery
• Utilize data and feedback to evaluate event effectiveness and implement improvements

Classification / Salary Range : The Assistant Director of Admissions for Campus Experience is a UUP position. The anticipated salary range for the position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually, with an outstanding benefits package. Special Notes : This is a full-time calendar year (12 month) appointment UUP Position. Fair Labor Standard Acts (FLSA) Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.
