The System Engineering and Test Capabilities team has an immediate need for a Cost Account Manager who would support the Multi-Function RF Systems (MFRFS) product line. The Cost Account Manager will be part of the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities functional group and will work closely with the finance, engineering and program management teams to monitor and report all aspects of the program execution to product line leadership.

The selected individual must be an excellent communicator with a strong desire to learn while being aggressively challenged. Competitive applicants must have the ability to think on their feet, provide accurate and insightful management analysis with recommendations, manage competing priorities and interact with various levels of management, including Engineering Leadership, Program Directors, Program Managers, and various Program Management office representatives to ensure alignment regarding strategy, operating, and financial objectives.

This position will be O nsite in McKinney, TX.

What You Will Do

Oversee the reporting and review of production programmatic metrics on a regular basis, monitor for trends, and make recommendations to the appropriate functional partners and program manager.

Management of earned value, analysis of program performance ensuring compliance with internal EVM policy

Support periodic development of Estimate at Completion (EACs)

Support the development of product group level inputs and updates to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP) objectives

Meet critical deadlines while managing multiple conflicting priorities

Use strong analytical abilities to understand data quickly in order to make informed business decisions

Participation in key leadership strategy reviews

Support proposal development, submittal, negotiations and program start up activities

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum ten (10) years of prior relevant experience

Experience program execution or related program management.

Experience in a DoD acquisition environment and processes such as USN, USAF and / or other service branch programs.

Experience with Estimates at Complete (EACs)

Experience in Earn Value Management System (EVMS) and Cost Account Management (CAM)

The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience working  and reporting on complex production related issues

Experience with electrical hardware development, sub-systems, systems engineering, requirement development and / or requirement validation

Experience with systems engineering, system integration, system verification, and / or system test

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in written form

Experience interfacing with senior level management and customers, including formal presentations

Ability to think on their feet, make decisions in a fast-paced environment, and manage competing priorities

Ability to identify issues and implement corrective action plans that produce positive results

Ability to partner with various functional teams and work in collaboration on the successful execution of gate reviews, contract modification negotiations, financial reporting, and EAC’s.

Continuous improvement mindset and high attention to detail and accuracy

Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
