Job Summary
We are currently hiring a Backend Web Developer for our Information Technology team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. The primary purpose of this position is to develop, enhance and maintain backend web infrastructure in conjunction with company web applications and third party integrations.
Essential Duties
Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these :
- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend web infrastructure in conjunction with company web applications and third party integrations.
- Participate as a team member in projects.
- Learn from and support fellow team members.
- Provide support for existing web applications, backend processes and related infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot issues in collaboration with team members.
- Gain an in-depth knowledge of the existing web platforms / environments to identify opportunities to enhance the existing environment with new technologies and methodologies.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Competencies
Competencies we value for this role include : Associate degree in computer science, or equivalent experience and education. Experience with Object Oriented Programming, 3 or more years of experience in developing and supporting secure web applications, backend infrastructure, RESTful API's and third-party integrations. 3 or more years of experience with C#, ASP.NET Core MVC (6+), Nginx, NuGet. 2 or more years of experience with MS SQL Server 2019+, database structure, queries, stored procedures. 2 or more years of experience with API security best practices, design and implementation. 1 or more years of experience with Windows Server (2019+) and IIS (websites, application pools) and Git CLI. Experience with complex JSON objects and knowledge of current trends in design / development of scalable, high performance, high availability web applications. Knowledge of current API security best practices (API gateways, encryption, authentication / access control, logging & monitoring).
