About The Position

• Interventional Cardiac Cath lab experience required
• Experience with Diagnostic Catheterizations, Left heart catheterization, Pulmonary Artery Line / Swan Ganz monitoring, Right heart catheterization
• Procedural Sedation Administration / Monitoring
• Interpretation / Management of Dysrhythmias
• Monitoring Procedural Sedation
• Cerner experience required

Description :

This position is for a Cath Lab RN.

The shift is 3x12-hour days (06 : 30 - 19 : 00).

The average daily census is 25 patients.

The unit consists of 5 rooms.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Weekend shifts are required, with a commitment to work 2-3 weekends per contract.

On-call requirements are rotating and as needed.

Floating within the scope to meet facility needs is required.

Candidates must have experience in circulating procedures and cardiac catheterizations in adults.

Experience in procedural sedation administration and monitoring is essential.

The facility offers a Magnet designation and is a teaching hospital.

Candidates must be prepared to work in a Level I trauma center.

Clear and organized charting is required through the Cerner system.

Candidates should expect a patient ratio of 1 : 1 during the day.

The hospital is equipped with interdisciplinary support including rapid response teams.

Daily census and patient diagnoses may vary.

Candidates must comply with all facility requirements throughout the duration of the contract.
