Overview

Role : Senior Network Engineer Infrastructure Focus

Location : Urbana, MD(Onsite- 5 days a week)

Duration : 6+ Months( W2-Contract)

Summary

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-wide network infrastructure ensuring top performance, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy LAN, WAN, WLAN, and hybrid cloud networks.
  • Configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and proxy servers.
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime.
  • Lead network upgrades, implement security protocols, and oversee patching.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s / Master s in CS, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong expertise in TCP / IP, BGP, OSPF, IPSEC, QoS.
  • Hands-on with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto systems.
  • AWS / Azure networking experience required.
  • Preferred : CCNP, CCIE, or CISSP certifications.
