Enforces the security policies and procedures of EverTrue and the community; Guards against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry to property by performing the following duties :

• Patrols the community on foot and by vehicle to maintain a safe environment and provides security for visitors, residents, and employees
• Surveys the community for safety hazards, fires, suspicious people or other hazardous conditions
• Ensures security of doors, windows, and gates by performing routine checks
• Provides escort service to buildings and parking lots and assists residents to gain entry to their apartments as needed
• Responds to physical alarms
• Assists residents with minor repairs in the absences of maintenance
• Picks up trash during rounds in the patio homes and apartments
• Delivers newspapers
• Performs security searches as needed
• Provides assistance to the Fire Department and staff during fire / disasters
• Monitors heavy equipment and pressure gauges
• Monitors light outage and maintenance
• Investigate theft and property damage reports
• Participates in snow removal
• Completes knowledge of alarms and procedures
• Sounds alarm or call police, fire department by telephone if needed
• Writes concise and factual reports on each incident that occur during a shift
• May operate telephone / paging system receiving and transferring all incoming, internal, and external phone calls and making pages

Is subject to loud noises from machinery. Is subject to exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. Is subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including exposure to the AIDS and Hepatitis B virus within guidelines of standard precautions.

EverTrue Pay & Benefits

Pay grade : 09, $16.20 / hour to $25.15 / hour.
