Database Support Engineer

A company is looking for a Database Support Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with customer production systems, providing high-level support and solutions

Maintain and create technical support documentation, including knowledge articles and change control documentation

Provide training to Technical Support Engineers and customized training to premium customers

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

4+ years of customer service experience troubleshooting software applications

2+ years of experience with Oracle and Microsoft Databases

Experience with Backup and Recovery procedures and Database Switchovers (RMAN, Data Guard, Fast Start Failover)

Experience in shell scripting (Awk, Bash, Powershell, and / or Vi)
