Pay Information

$270 to $280 per hour

About The Position

Seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physician for locum coverage. The physician will provide direct patient care in a high-acuity emergency department without midlevel support. Coverage needed for a mix of day, evening, and overnight shifts.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to adult and pediatric patients.
  • Perform advanced emergency procedures, including intubation, chest tubes, central lines, and procedural sedation.
  • Manage OB / GYN emergencies and deliveries in the ED setting.
  • Lead resuscitation efforts for critically ill and trauma patients.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ensure accurate documentation within EPIC EMR.

Job Requirements

  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) – Required.
  • Active North Dakota Medical License – Required.
  • ACLS, ATLS, PALS, DEA, and CDS Certification – Required.
  • Recent experience in high-acuity emergency medicine – Preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working independently (no midlevel provider support).
