Dietary Aide

The dietary aide is responsible for assisting cooking staff with equipment and general kitchen area including floors, dish room, and resident dining room.

Responsibilities

Assist with dining service to all residents in prompt and courteous manner

Responsible for dish room duties to include cleaning, sanitization, and storing of clean dishes

Responsible for maintaining proper appearance and cleanliness of dining room

Maintains clean and sanitized kitchen and dining areas including work stations

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Sincere desire to work with the elderly and physically disabled population

Confidentiality of all resident and facility information

This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism at all times

Good communication skills

Use hands for repetitive grasping, pushing / pulling, fine manipulation

Have the ability to bend, squat, twist, and reach

Ability to remain calm in high pressure situations
