Job Summary :

The Highland County Board of DD is hiring a full-time Service & Support Administrator (SSA) to support individuals with developmental disabilities. This position will primarily focus on children and youth transitioning to adulthood but may also include working with adults . We're looking for someone who is a strong communicator, takes initiative, and enjoys working with families, schools, providers, and other community agencies. This is a dynamic role in a field that is always growing and changing. We need someone who is open to learning, flexible, and passionate about helping others.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist individuals and families / guardians in exploring and accessing services from various funding sources
• Develop Individual Service Plans (ISPs) through a team process that reflects each person's unique needs and goals
• Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and service providers to meet the needs of those served
• Advocate for inclusive opportunities and resources that empower young individuals to thrive in their communities
• Assist individuals in choosing service providers and ensure services are working well.
• Monitor services and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Stay informed about changes in the field and participate in ongoing training.

Individual must be able to pass criminal background checks as required by the Ohio Revised Code; 180-day probation period must be completed. Individual must be able to pass BCI and FBI criminal background checks as required by the Ohio Revised Code; pass a preemployment drug screen, physical and TB test, and have a valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record and a satisfactory MVR CORSA score.
