Location : Huntsville, AL

SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL :

  • Secret – mandatory
  • TS preferred
  • TS / SCI a plus
  • $10,000 sign on bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • In support of Missile Defense Agency events, plan and oversee installations (specifically relating to AV Control System Programming and testing), operate, and maintain video conferencing equipment. As requested, provide video conferencing event planning packages consisting of test plans, engineering assessments, configuration drawings, accreditation documentation (as required) and other applicable documents or information.
  • Oversee VTC Maintenance Crew in providing VTC and A / V operational support and facilitation within Top Secret SCI / SAP facilities.
  • Oversee VTC Maintenance Crew in maintaining the video conferencing–unique hardware, software, and peripherals (e.g., TelePresence, CODEC, AV, Gateways, TMS, Monitors, Projectors, AMX Panels).
  • Oversee VTC Maintenance Crew in utilizing the existing incident management tracking tool (e.g., Remedy) for all related maintenance activities.
  • Monitor MDA’s Remedy Application and assign maintenance tasks to individual crew members.
  • Oversee VTC Maintenance Crew in maintaining equipment per Information Assurance guidance from both the manufacturer and Government (e.g., the CERT IAVM and DISA).
  • Oversee VTC Maintenance Crew in troubleshooting and resolving collaboration and business application incidents.
  • Plan and oversee preventative maintenance services in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedules and SOPs.
  • Implement and execute configuration management plans, processes, and procedures.
  • Oversee VTC Maintenance Crew in maintaining MDA collaboration systems and all associated VTC peripheral equipment for VBIII Auditorium, future operations / control centers, and collaboration systems; procure and maintain manufacturer service and / or maintenance agreements.
  • Manage, plan, design, coordinate, integrate, implement (including procure, test, and accept) future collaboration services and equipment.
  • Manage and utilize COMSEC materials and procedures to ensure video conferencing systems are operational and properly keyed to enable secure events. Maintain accountability of electronic keying material and COMSEC equipment. In conjunction with site security processes, comply with access control procedures for facilities housing Video Conferencing systems.
  • Maintain currency with advancing technologies and provide recommendations for new technologies, including technology refresh, to the Government.
  • Prepare, review, coordinate, update, and submit DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) supporting documentation.

    • REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma is required
  • College Degree not required but preferred
  • Must have 5 or more years of experience in the Audio Visual industry
  • Extensive experience with Audio / Visual control system installation, programming and troubleshooting
  • Experience with programming AMX (Netlinx Studio) and Extron (Visual Studio) control systems
  • Strong understanding of computer networking including configuration of Cisco network switches
  • Experience with Cisco Call Manager (a plus)
  • In-depth knowledge of installation, operation, scheduling and support of desktop and conference room VTC systems in a secure government or military environment
  • Working knowledge of AV concepts (acoustics, lighting, aspect ratios, font size vs distance, scan rates, video standards, transmission systems)
  • Working knowledge of TEMPEST standards and IA concerns for multi-classification multimedia systems
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to work as part of a team; strong leadership qualities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; extensive team and customer contact
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office products
  • Understanding electrical current (a plus)
  • Experience with Cisco systems installation, maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge and experience with computer network configuration
  • CompTIA Security+ (a plus)
  • CEDIA Certification (a plus)
  • CTS Certifications (a plus) : CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I
