Responsibilities Work in a 15-suite hospital Operating Room, including 2 CVOR suites Level II Trauma Center with primary patient populations in general, trauma, ortho, neuro, ENT, vascular, gyn, urology, robotics, plastics, and limited peds ortho 1 : 1 nurse-to-patient ratio Cerner EMR is utilized Use of specialized OR equipment including Plum 360 IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Spacelabs monitors No floating required On-call required : 1 weekday per week and 1 full weekend per month with a 30-minute response time Weekend and holiday rotation is expected Green scrubs provided by the facility Position involves circulating only in a comprehensive array of surgical specialties Support structure includes ORA, desk assistant, charge nurse, and team service line leaders Two-week orientation on day shift; expected to take buddy call during orientation Parking is available in a parking deck Expected to work at least one holiday per contract First-time travelers are considered if they meet experience requirements Requirements Active AL or compact RN license Minimum 2 years of recent circulator experience in trauma, neuro, ortho (including total joints and spine), general, vascular (including endovascular), ENT, urology, gyn, plastics, and robotic surgery (Mazor / DaVinci XI preferred) Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Experience circulating the listed case types required Robotics experience preferred Cerner EMR experience preferred No candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility Former perm staff must wait 6 months before being considered for traveler positions Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-620253.
