Vice President, Parcel Operations

The Vice President, Parcel Operations will lead the development and execution of Echo's small parcel strategy, overseeing all aspects of product innovation, operational performance, and client enablement. This leader will drive the strategic roadmap for Echo's parcel solutions, ensuring alignment with broader company goals, technology integration, and client success initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep industry expertise, a collaborative leadership style, and a track record of scaling parcel operations in a dynamic logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership :

Develop and execute Echo's small parcel strategy, including product roadmap, operational framework, and market positioning.

Partner with executive leadership to drive strategic growth initiatives and long-term business objectives in the parcel space.

Technology & Integration :

Serve as the primary liaison to IT to define business requirements, system integrations, and vendor alignment.

Oversee the implementation of parcel technology solutions, ensuring system efficiency and scalability.

Operational Excellence :

Lead best practices and standard operating procedures for parcel execution and service delivery.

Oversee client onboarding, pricing rollout, and process optimization across teams and systems.

Cross-Functional Enablement :

Develop and implement internal education and enablement programs for Account Executives and Operations teams to drive adoption and expertise in parcel solutions.

Ensure consistent communication, training, and performance measurement across business units.

Partnership & Collaboration :

Partner closely with Sales and other senior leaders to align market strategy, carrier relations, and client experience initiatives.

Build and maintain strong relationships with parcel carriers, technology vendors, and key enterprise clients.

Performance & Growth :

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency, cost effectiveness, and client satisfaction.

Identify growth opportunities through innovation, automation, and new product offerings.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in parcel logistics, transportation management, or supply chain operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven track record developing and executing small parcel or e-commerce shipping strategies.

Strong understanding of parcel carrier networks, pricing structures, and integration technologies.

Demonstrated experience partnering with IT, Product, and Sales to drive system and process improvements.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.

Compensation

$1.00-999,999,999.00 per year

This role is eligible for a bonus that is based on a combination of personal and business performance.
