This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials.
Create these materials by hand or by using technology, including computer software programs.
Meet with web designers to understand desired web page appearance; create or incorporate illustrations, videos, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of communications.
Produce drafts for client review and revise based on feedback.
Review final productions for errors and ensure layouts reflect client specifications; study design briefs to determine requirements.
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
Use appropriate colors and layouts for videos.
Work with copywriters and the creative director to produce the final design.
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
Create and develop multimedia (audio / video) content for customer stories, internal company announcements, external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, recruiting videos, and other enterprise-wide projects.
Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, and select optimal forms of media for projects.
Work independently and as part of a team to establish project deliverables.
Record and edit video and audio projects, including selecting program formats for final output, media organization, editing footage and sound files, creating graphics, titling, adding music / voice-over / SFX, media management, and archiving project media.

Requirements

3 years of experience as a graphics designer or in a similar role.

Mastery of graphic design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.

Knowledge of video and audio editing software programs is a big plus.

Solid knowledge of design and visual principles.

Demonstrated portfolio showing creative, design, and software skills.

Ability to evaluate choices critically, with the customer's needs in mind.

Ability to communicate design choices clearly.

Ability to take and follow direction, while also having a creative eye for improvements.

Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure.

General understanding of computers and digital equipment and knowledge of new and cutting-edge technology.
