Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dentist for a 2-day locum tenens assignment in Alabama beginning Oct 15, 2025. This opportunity offers day shifts on Wednesday and Thursday, 8am to 5pm, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role involves providing comprehensive dental care to both children and adults alongside an established dental team.

Schedule : Wednesday and Thursday, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities and Duties

Perform hygiene checks, fillings, and crown and bridge procedures

Complete premolar and anterior root canals, molar endodontics, and implant restorations

Conduct simple and surgical extractions, including 3rd molar extractions

Manage bone grafts, and provide full and partial dentures

Deliver pediatric dental care, including pulpotomies, pulpectomies, extractions, and hygiene checks

Refer out cases only when necessary

Additional Information

Must have at least 1 year of clinical experience

Comfortable working with children

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Required certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)

Alabama dental license required
