• Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing\n
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license\n
• 1 year experience in stepdown / progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred\n
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association\n
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices\n
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems\nResponsibilities : \n
• Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators\n
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly\n
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care\n
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP / CPAP / Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors\n
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations\nBenefits : \n
