Job Summary :

The Medical Director of Inpatient and Outpatient BMT Services will be an integral member of the Division of Hematology, Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant - Cellular Therapies At Children's Hospital Colorado, contributing to the institution's mission of providing exceptional patient care, education, research and advocacy. This position is responsible for providing clinical leadership and strategic direction for the Blood and Marrow Transplantation (BMT) program.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide clinical leadership and assist with strategic direction for the clinical BMT and cellular therapy program, including inpatient and outpatient services.
• Manage operational issues coordinating inpatient and outpatient BMT-CT service.
• Partner with the Quality Manager to develop and implement clinical programs that enhance the quality of care and improve patient outcomes.
• Provide direct patient care to patients with blood and marrow disorders amendable to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy technologies.
• Oversee clinical research initiatives and clinical trials related to BMT and cellular therapy.
• Oversee the BMT Advance Practice Provider (APP) team and ensure that all team members are working to scope.
