job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork in a hospital-based CT department Shifts are 3 : 00 PM to 3 : 00 AM, three days per week including every other weekend No on-call required May float to a nearby sister hospital as needed Utilizes GE, OEC C-arm, and Carestream portable equipment Uses PACS and RIS systems for image management and documentation Perform CT and general diagnostic radiology procedures under general supervision Explain procedures and prepare patients, including obtaining clinical history and administering IV contrast Assist radiologists with complex sterile procedures and ensure proper radiation safety and patient care Document all procedures and patient information accurately in the medical record and RIS Must complete onsite online modules and receive a passing score prior to start date Travelers should be prepared to lift equipment or patients in excess of 10 lbs Exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and contagious patients may occur if proper precautions are not used Team-oriented work environment with an expectation of flexibility and excellent communication RTO requests must be included with initial consideration; post-offer RTO requests require management approval Active MI license required if applicable Current ARRT certification in Radiology and advanced registry in CT or registry-eligible AHA BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CT Technologist High school diploma or GED required Compliance with COVID vaccination requirement High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
